everything a flutter

For all those waiting eagerly for new additions to the wardrobe, as promised
by moi - I'm busily creating amongst the flutter and flapping that seems to be all
encompassing at this time of year. Graduate parade next week, *sigh* they're
all grown up and flying away...

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream

lost many hours sleep the last few weeks - cutting, sewing, printing, drawing -
organising! enjoying it...but so sleepy...feels like a neverending dream,
ahhh, sleeeeeep...I'll just rest my eyes for one little minute.

kaleidoscope continued

The more kaleidoscope style patterns I draw the more obsessed I
become the more I want to draw them to see how much more I can
pack into them! I think I have a new addiction...

poppy la la

Poppies - drawn back at the little, tiny Troy Terrace apartment in Daglish.
Sitting under the jacaranda with a cup of tea, a pencil and one beautiful
poppy smiling back at me.

the magic tablet

My illustrations were transformed a couple of years ago when Greg
(who I also have to congratulate for winning a Threadless print today!)
introduced me to the joys of the wacom tablet - otherwise known as "magic".
I created these images using a combination of my photography, hand
drawings and digital wonders in Photoshop.

Four colour pattern 2006

This pattern was designed with that delightful and mesmerising
childhood toy in mind - the kaleidoscope. I spied some in a stall at the
Subiaco Market recently... nice little Christmas present I think!

1979 - a mello yello kind of year

1979 - the year I was born and the year Mello Yello arrived,
tangy and refreshing.

Silk-screen printed box artwork, light, bright and easy to hang or stand alone.

see-through-me artiness

a little bit of artiness mixed with a little bit of sunshine
makes for a little bit of something fun all day long...
keep your eye on the shadows!
